As social media evolves, you realize that time is not always on your side and although I have been writing on this blog for fourteen years, inspiration along with new ideas must also evolve or do they? There is a ton of great content online about our passion for the outdoors, I especially appreciate all the video content. Firearms history or waterfowl and elk hunting.
But it still remains a niche, just like other sports and hobbies. I still hold on to the idea that our passion for the outdoors is more than just a sport, it is part of our history, intertwined in our every day lives and ultimately becomes family heritage.
Over the past few weeks, I have been upgrading my gun library and gear for the up coming season, and I am sure once the fall comes upon us, my inspiration will come out of hibernation and stories will flow like the glacier rivers out of the Rockies. Stay safe and continue to be ethical and great ambassadors to our passion for the wild.
“We are now in the mountains and they are in us, kindling enthusiasm, making every nerve quiver, filling every pore and cell of us.” —John Muir.
